I did my Ph.D. at the Weizmann Institute of Science, working in the lab of Prof. Sara Lavi on the effects of carcinogens on SV40 replication and gene expression. Next I moved to Princeton University, where I spent five years in Prof. Tom Shenk's lab studying interactions between adenovirus and the host cell. My lab at the Technion studies one of the adenovirus proteins, E4orf4, and its role during virus infection and in induction of cancer-specific cell death.
